David Kubik has a long time association with small business and the home building industry. After completing 2 years of college at California State University Long Beach he experienced hands on construction work as a concrete finisher, framer, and home builder over a span of 14 years. He then returned to school and in 1992 received his Bachelor's Degree in accounting from Griffin College, a private college near Seattle, Washington. His main research area is the analysis of business accounting, finance and taxation in computerized construction company systems.
After working as a staff accountant for 2 different large construction companies in the Seattle area, he became interested in returning to private practice as a small business accounting consultant as this appeared to be an area in which the skills he offered would produce needed and appreciated benefits to his clients. His association with RD Sherrill, Inc. began in 2000, and he accepted the role of CFO in 2008.
